SER : « NOTE FOR GREEN THUMBS »

Complying with SER procedure, ADS and EGI-SOFENOR participated in the “Model the landscape” operation. This is one of ENRx’s (Regional Natural Spaces) initiatives to preserve regional landscapes and diversity.
On December 5th  2009, 12 of ADS and EGI employees, along with youth in difficulty (Afeji Association) , actively contributed to the protection of our environment, on voluntary basis, by  planting 240 trees adapted to the soil and climate of  Nord Pas-de-Calais.

ADS and EGI-SOFENOR successfully certified OHSAS

ADS and EGI-SOFENOR are the group’s first companies to have obtained OHSAS 18001 certification*, thanks to its security procedure.

At the instigation of Michael Baert, the Quality/Security Officer, ADS and EGI-SOFENOR obtained OHSAS 18001 Version 2007 certification on 04/01/2010. Thanks for his commitment in conducting this project and congratulations to ADS/EGI-SOFENOR teams for their involvment.

In security domain, OHSAS 18001 certification is identical to ISO 19001 for quality or ISO 14001 for environment. This certification encompasses a series of norms including organization, methods, expertise, documentation, risk identification and prevention tools.

This process actually constitutes an effective management tool and serves different purposes:

- Constant improvment of staff security,

- Make security a common priority, internal as well as external,

- Guarantee a perennial process, based on persons, tools and methods.

Participation in Miffel trade fair

Through its subsidiary CSB (Sorgues 84), Cedres Industries demonstrated its expertise in agro-food industry at the MIFFEL exhibition.

Participation in international environment fair (pollutec)

By participating in the international environment fair in Morocco(pollutec), Cèdres Industries displayed its expertise in this domain and more specifically in water treatment plants.

For this purpose, Cedres Industries Group has a design department dedicated to sizing and set up of turnkey water treatment plants whether by biological and/or physico-chemical processes.

Defining plant size according to type of waste to be treated, choosing appropriate type of process: biological reactor, ultra filtration, reverse osmosis.
